Technical solutions to reduce post-harvest food loss.
-
Advanced food handling and storage systems.
-
Digital infrastructure to optimize food supply chains and trace carbon footprint and ESG commitments.
The UN's Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimates that over 30% of agricultural and seafood harvests are lost or wasted. For many agricultural systems in South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, this figure is much higher.
Adtingo Agritech integrates multiple advanced technologies to achieve profound improvements in food preservation
1. Cold Pasteurization
This cornerstone technology, also called eBeam irradiation, is one of the most versatile and cost-effective methods for eliminating contaminants from food without changing its taste, color, texture or nutritional value.
Benefits
-
Safe energy waves destroy bacteria, microbes, pests and fungi, as well as inhibit sprouting
-
Eliminates or significantly reduced need for antibiotics, pesticides and other chemical interventions
-
Shelf life for fresh vegetables, fruits, poultry, meat and seafood dramatically increased
-
No chemical residue or degradation of food quality
-
Designed to handle large-scale volume, up to 250,000 tons per year per site
2. Downstream Food Supply Chain Management
Once food contaminants are eliminated through cold pasteurization, Adtingo AgriTech deploys cutting edge storage and handling systems to protect harvests as they move through the supply chain.
Solutions Include
-
Controlled environment, ambient temperature warehouse design, construction and management
-
Large-scale hermetic “cocoon” grain tarps
-
Cold chain management and logistics optimization
3. Fully Integrated Upstream Food Supply Chain Management
Adtingo AgriTech applies distributed ledger technology to digitally integrate and trace the various stages of the food supply chain starting from cultivation, harvest, processing, storage and distribution.
